Wingate of Chichester was, according to the current owner, originally a lifeboat from the cruise ship SS Canberra. She was decommissioned in the 1980s and started life as a trip boat in Arboath.

Around 1988 she was purchased by a harbour tour company in Chichester where she was given a refit and changed to her present format.

This vessel is MCA coded for 52 passengers and 2 crew with the licence expiring in 2024. She also has an up to date domestic safety management policy (dsm ).

She would make a perfect and very novel floating bar, coffee shop or fast food boat and would be ideal operating in large marinas or busy harbours.

She could also be converted into a floating home.
